What happens when I claim?

 

This all depends on where you choose to have your treatment. But whether you’ve decided to go with BMI Healthcare, your own private hospital or the NHS –remember HealthChoice will always be there to help you.

If you choose treatment at a BMI Healthcare hospital we will:

  • Arrange your hospital admission at a time that suits you
  • Settle all costs directly with BMI Healthcare Hospital
  • Arrange and settle the cost of one post-operative consultation and any post-operative physiotherapy
 

If you choose treatment at a private hospital you will need to:

  • Arrange your hospital admission and settle all costs
  • Send us all invoices and proof of payment.
  • We will then reimburse you the full cost you would have received if you had chosen to have your treatment privately at a BMI hospital

If you choose treatment with the NHS:

  • We can help you arrange your admission to an NHS hospital
  • Send us a copy of the hospital discharge certificate, once you’ve had your procedure.
  • We will then give you the full procedure cost you would have received if you had chosen to have your treatment privately at a BMI hospital
